Our House: Rethinking Home in a Changing Climate
This exhibit was at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Chicago, IL. This project featured custom cut CNC plywood with UV full color printing. We worked with the museum to achieve the exact look they wanted with the woodgrain showing through the color printing on the wood.
Then They Came for Me: Incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII and the Demise of Civil Liberties
This show was on display in Chicago at the Alphawood Gallery. It then traveled to a few more locations across the USA. This exhibit featured powerful images from renowned American photographers Dorothea Lange, Ansel Adams and others. We worked closely with the curator to achieve the warm B&W colored prints that they demanded for this installation. By printing on high quality UltraBoard featuring a foam core with French cleats already installed, meant the giant prints were easy to install by just two people.
The World Basketball Festival 2014
Presented by NIKE, Jordan Brand and USA Basketball in Chicago. Sunrise Hitek brought a lot of our capabilities to this project including large outdoor murals and graphics, computer cut vinyl lettering and graphics, and hanging banners to fit in with the large bold look of this show.
